Pineapple pieces with apple syrup - osmotically dried
In the case of osmotically dried fruits, water is removed during the drying process and partially replaced by apple syrup.
This preserves the fruit, but compared to other drying methods, it remains nice and soft and the original flavor and color are also preserved.
