Homemade orange and lemon cleaner


Ingredients:
- organic oranges and lemon peel
- apple cider vinegar or vinegar essence & water
- a large jar with clamp lid
- sieve or nut milk bag
- funnel
- spray bottle

How to make sustainable use of your peels from freshly squeezed breakfast juice and your cleaning routine is really fun & smells fruity fresh.

Chop the orange and lemon peels into small pieces or chop them in a food processor.

Place the citrus peel in a large glass and pour apple cider vinegar over it up to the rim. If you are using vinegar essence, mix it with water as indicated on the packet.

The peels must be completely covered. You can use a second, smaller drinking glass for this, which you place in the cleaner glass, close it airtight and shake vigorously.

Keep the jar in a dark place and after about two to three weeks the orange cleaner will be ready. You may need to add vinegar, as the peel absorbs the vinegar.

Then pour everything through a sieve or a nut milk bag into a spray bottle or other container using a funnel.

You can use your super fragrant fresh household cleaner in a variety of ways.

For all surfaces such as: Windows, tiles, oven, worktops, floors, also as a rinse cycle in the washing machine and dishwasher.


Note:

Always label your orange cleaner as a cleaning agent. The golden yellow orange cleaner looks very appetizing and could be mistaken for juice Always store orange cleaner with other cleaning products away from children.
