Homemade quince jelly

Ingredients:
- 680ml quince peel stock
- juice of one lemon
- 500g gelling sugar 2:1

First, the jars and lids must be sterilized. To do this, fill the jars with boiling hot water and boil the lids in water for 2 minutes.

Now take the prepared quince peel stock and bring to the boil. Then add the gelling sugar, dissolve it in the quince stock and boil the mixture for at least five minutes until bubbling hot.

After five minutes, test the jelly once. If the liquid has not yet gelled properly, the cooking time must be extended.

If the gelling is successful, pour the quince stock into the prepared jars while they are still hot and close them immediately with the lids. These are then turned upside down to cool.
