Our organic Mangosteen juice is continuously monitored and certified by the German ecological board ABCERT (DE-ÖKO-006).

Mangosteen is the fruit of a tropical tree belonging to the genus “Garcinia”. The Mangosteen tree is very sensitive to cold temperatures which is why it can only grow in warm climates. The word "mangosteen" stems from the Malay language and the mangosteen tree is indigenous to the Malay Peninsula, but today it is grown in many tropical regions. It takes seven years before one can expect to harvest a mangosteen, but the best crops are obtained after around 10 years of growth at which point a tree can yield between 500 and 5000 fruits.
The mangosteen tree blossoms between September and October, and the fruit itself ripens in November and December. A ripe mangosteen is roughly the size of a tomato (around 2.5 to 7.5 cm), and has a purple leathery skin that is often covered in yellowish spots.
Mangosteen have a white pulp with a sour taste that is somehow reminiscent of grapes, peaches, pineapple, and grapefruit
The purple skin of the mangosteen is also processed into things such as tea.
Recommended daily intake:
Our organic mangosteen juice consists of 75 % mangosteen and 25% pomegranate juice. Drink up to 60 ml of our fruit juice daily to enjoy its fresh and fruity taste. Our mangosteen juice is particularly delicious when served chilled, or mixed into kefir with a teaspoon of honey.
