Our golden-yellow organic beeswax exudes a pleasant, strongly honey-like scent and is therefore particularly suitable for the production of candles and ointments.
However, due to its special purity it is also very popular as an additive for food and for the preparation of wax cloths.
This is particularly noteworthy, as beeswax is unfortunately often laced with cheap paraffin additives and 100% pure beeswax is very difficult to obtain.

In order to be able to guarantee the quality of our products our enterprise is regularly controlled and certified by the German organic inspection agency ABCERT (DE-ÖKO-006). You can view our current organic certificate here.
However, organic certified beeswax is a rarity, as there are only very few organic certified beekeepers who have enough surplus quantities to be able to offer them for sale.
Our organic beeswax comes from a project in Ethiopia in which beekeeping is combined with aspects of environmental protection and reforestation, training of young people and payment of fair prices.

Beeswax is a secretion that the bees secrete in order to build their hexagonal honeycombs, which serves as a reservoir, breeding place and living and sleeping room.
In its original state, beeswax is white to light yellow. It takes on a darker colour over time, especially when it comes into contact with pollen oil, which is a fat-soluble extract from the pollen grain wall.
Nowadays beeswax is mainly used as a coating agent in the food industry, but it is also very popular in the production of candles, natural ointments and wax cloths.
Wax cloths are becoming more and more popular because they are an environmentally friendly way of keeping food fresh.
