Due to the strict specifications and controls of the organic control bodies Ceres-Cert and ABCERT/DE-ÖKO-006 (organic certificate) the highest standards are achieved in the cultivation of our organic spirulina. This includes the cultivation process. Here, the new EU Microalgae Regulation and the additional guidelines of Ceres-Cert ensure that our organic spirulina is only grownwith fresh water and a plant-based substrate with organic certification and that no chemical or animal fertilizers of any kind are used.

Secondly, the use of additives of any kind is prohibited after harvesting, gentle drying and grinding. This means that our spirulina algae do not contain any flavorings, colorings or preservatives. The use of pressing aids is also prohibited. It goes without saying that they are also vegan.

Our algae are therefore of the highest quality, which is also confirmed by continuous checks for residues. This means that with our organic spirulina you are buying food of the highest quality.

Environmental protection in spirulina cultivation:

The Ceres Cert guidelines not only guarantee that our organic spirulina achieves the highest quality class, but also take environmental protection into account. This includes water recycling and waste water measures as well as requirements for the use of renewable energies.

Minimum shelf life and consumption of spirulina:

Our spirulina is always freshly packaged and has a shelf life of at least 3 years.

Spirulina is a versatile addition to smoothies, juices, yoghurt or muesli and is now very popular with young and old alike.

Spirulina also contains around 55% protein. You get an optimal protein combination together with our flower pollen or royal jelly.

Spirulina should be consumed with vitamin C to increase iron utilization. We therefore recommend our acerola powder or our spruce needle powder.

Our organic spirulina is also available as a Green Trio combination product, together with organic barley grass and organic chlorella.
