Our organic chlorella is the only plant-based food that naturally contains iron and real vitamin B12.
As a rule, just 10g covers your entire daily requirement of iron and B12. The requirement for women is slightly higher than for men. It therefore helps you to avoid an iron deficiency and stay healthy in a natural way.
Chlorella algae is therefore preferred by people who value a natural and balanced diet and especially vegetarians, vegans, but also people with an increased need for iron or B12 can benefit greatly from our organic chlorella.

Processing - drying - breaking down the cell wall:

To ensure that all these nutrients are fully available to your body, our organic chlorella is gently dried using a low-temperature process and then ground into a fine powder using a special grinding process, whereby the 3-layer cell wall is broken up at the same time. Many people usually only know chlorella algae as a healthy and high-quality food. However, there is much more potential in chlorella than it appears at first glance, as its composition and adaptability make it not only suitable for nutrition, but also much more versatile.

Chlorella, for example, contains fatty acids with a structure similar to that of palm oil. In the long term, oil obtained from chlorella could therefore replace palm oil, which is harmful to the environment. This is because, unlike oil palms, which require large areas of cultivation and are therefore directly responsible for deforestation of rainforests, microalgae such as spirulina and chlorella can be cultivated very efficiently in fresh and salt water. Cultivated in marine waters, no additional land would be required. In addition, both algae are relatively fast-growing and also grow in regions that would no longer be suitable for palm cultivation due to climatic conditions, which is why a higher level of efficiency is achieved than in palm oil production.

A further advantage of chlorella is its water-purifying property. When introduced into waste water, it can grow quickly due to the high concentration of nutrients and ultimately remains as biomass, which can then be used again to generate energy through CO2-neutral biodiesel or to produce biogas.

But the cycle does not end here. The remains left over from fermentation in biogas plants are now also available as high-quality biological fertiliser, which can now be used in agriculture again.
Chlorella can therefore be optimally used for a circular economy.
