Highly active Spanish mountain flower pollen:
Our Spanish pollen, together with propolis and royal jelly, are the highest quality products to come out of the beehive.
Flower pollen from the Spanish plateaus has a pleasant aromatic, sweet taste and is considered to be among the highest quality pollen in the world.
This means that our pollen comes from unsprayed, flower-rich areas and not, as is often the case in Spain, from monoculture citrus plantations.
* They are tested for harmful substances, including pyrrolizidine alkaloids, by recognized and independent laboratories.
Please note that pollen without an analysis for pyrrolizidine alkaloids is often not marketable as food!

General information about pollen:
Flower p ollen are the male germ cells of flowering plants.
They are collected by bees and used as food for their offspring as they are very rich in protein (about 25%), vitamins, minerals and many other ingredients.
They are therefore an ideal source of the substances required for growth. The pollen is stored by the bees in the honeycomb in the form of bee bread.
But pollen also has a long tradition in human nutrition.
Various Native American tribes, for example, used flower pollen as a source of strength and stamina during long, exhausting hunting periods.
Flower pollen was also used in Chinese and Indian medicine to cure various diseases.
Nowadays, flower pollen is particularly popular with athletes and weakened people, as its protein and carbohydrate content make it the ideal food for rebuilding.
In apitherapy, it is also reported that people who take a pollen cure in the winter months can alleviate or even completely combat hay fever symptoms in the warmer months.
